Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License Training
Course Description: The 28 hour Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License Training is the course required to apply for the Class G Statewide Firearm License. The Class G Firearm License is required for Armed Security and Private Investigators and may be taken prior to or concurrent with the C or D License class. The course includes 20 hours of required classroom topics and eight (8) hours of range training and firearms qualification. This will be an intense two-day (14 hours each day) class with light breakfast and lunch provided during classroom hours. All 28 hours must be completed.

Materials Required for Students to Bring to Both Sessions:
Handgun with Belt and Holster: .38 caliber revolver; or a .380 caliber or 9-millimeter semiautomatic pistol; or a .357 caliber revolver with .38-caliber ammunition only; or a .40 caliber handgun; or a .45 163 ACP handgun. Handgun cleaning materials.
Ammunition: Minimum of 150 rounds of Ammunition.
Three Magazines or Two Speed Loaders, depending on the type of weapon.
Holster and Belt capable of securely holding the holster.
Approved Eyewear (Shooting Glasses) and Hearing Protection (soft earplugs allowed).
We are providing the classroom, handouts, light breakfast and lunch each day, Notary Service for application, Certificate of Completion for G class and Firearms Safety Certificate for Concealed Weapons class (if applicable) and range time at a private indoor climate controlled range.
